FireWire Connectors
There are three kinds of FireWire connectors:
- 4pin (IEEE 1394a without power supply) is installed on laptop computers and video cameras. Two wires for signal (data) transfer and two for signal reception.
- 6pin (IEEE 1394a). Two wires for power supply in addition.
- 9pin (IEEE 1394b). Additional wires for data transfer and reception.
